Job Description
Accounting
• Enter vendor invoices into QuickBooks Online, matching POs when necessary
• Maintain accurate vendor accounts
• Vendor payments and regular check runs
• Maintain positive, proactive communication with vendors
• Guide and assist current A/R specialist with daily tasks
• Bank reconciliations
• Month end account reconciliations
• Month end journal entries
• Financial statement preparation
• Other duties as assigned
Payroll/Benefits
• Bi-weekly payroll utilizing Heartland payroll processor
• Ensure all timecard punches are posted each payroll period, following up on missing punches
• Assist employees with payroll communications
• Administer employee benefits
• Onboard new employees and terminate exiting employees in payroll and benefits programs
• Other duties as assigned
Office Management
• Order supplies as needed
• Maintain office equipment
• Other duties as assigned
Skills:
• 5+ years full charge bookkeeping experience
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online required
• Skilled in Excel and Word
• Ability to use Outlook, File Explorer, and Teams
• Experience using Avanti helpful, but not required
• Self-motivated
• Proactive and able to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to prioritize
• Team Player
Compensation: $23-24 hourly
35-40 hours per week
