What You’ll Do:
- Keep records of daily transactions, recording all entries, and ensuring the accounting department is running smoothly.
- Work autonomously, be comfortable multi-tasking, be a self-starter who will help develop and implement processes and maintain a high attention to detail.
- Match transactions to the correct projects and accounts.
- Create new account entries, such as debits and credits.
- Review payroll records for accuracy.
- Account for all financial transactions, including bank reconciliations.
- Keep records updated in construction management software.
- Review and investigate any discrepancies.
- Develop and implement controls and procedures to ensure proper bookkeeping procedures are followed.
Qualifications:
- QuickBooks experience is a MUST HAVE.
- Accounting degree
- High proficiency in in MS Excel
- Construction background HUGE PLUS
- Great attention to detail
