Billing Specialist / Office Assistant
Location:Â Portland, OR
Pay:Â $22/hr
Hours:Â Mon-Fri, 7am -3pm

We are a meat wholesaler, and we work in a friendly, casual and laid back environment. We are looking to add a billing specialist/office assistant to our office team.

What You’ll Do:
- Receive and organize incoming payments? performing verification of credibility
- Prepare and post bills? invoices? and receipts
- Monitor the status of accounts and balances? checking them for inconsistencies
- Verify the validity of debit accounts
- Manage the accounts receivable database? adding new accounts or missed payments into it
- Reach out to customers to inform them about their outstanding debts and deadlines? or to provide them with support
- Prepare detailed and informative on billing activity
What You Need to Have:
- QuickBooks- desktop
- Multilingual is a plus!
- Good practical knowledge of MS Office? particularly Excel? and with ER software (such as JDE)
- Accurate? stress-resistant and results-driven
- Responsibility and close attention to details
