Opening: AutoCAD Drafter / Project Coordinator
Location: Milton, WA (In-Person)

Position Overview:
We are seeking an AutoCAD Drafter / Coordinator to join our team in a contract role supporting engineering and project teams through the full lifecycle of utility and telecom infrastructure projects. This hybrid role will blend drafting responsibilities with coordination duties, offering hands-on experience in permitting, document preparation, and project support.
What You'll Do:
In this role, you'll support project development from initial concept through final construction drawings, assisting with scheduling site walks, coordinating workflow, and preparing permit documents in a fast-paced environment. You’ll draft survey documents, design layouts, traffic control plans, and create accurate as-builts to reflect field conditions. Additional responsibilities include maintaining electronic records, coordinating with Project Managers, and communicating professionally with all stakeholders—all while adhering to strict safety protocols and using appropriate safety equipment.
Qualifications:
Must be local and available to start soon.
Associate’s Degree in Drafting or related field required.
Minimum of 1 year of AutoCAD experience preferred; strong educational background may substitute.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2016 or newer.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; Outlook calendar experience is a plus.
Experience in a construction office environment (Telecom, Electrical, Commercial, DOD, or Utility preferred).
Excellent computer skills and ease navigating server directories.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
Schedule & Compensation:
Full-Time | Monday–Friday
Shift options: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Pay
Rate: $26–$30/hour DOE
