OPTI STAFFING GROUP IS HIRING!
Opening: AutoCAD Drafter (Contract position 3-6+ Months)
City: Milton, WA

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
As a CAD Drafter, you'll support the design and engineering team throughout the entire project lifecycle—from initial concepts to the completion of final construction drawings. Your role will involve creating and preparing survey documents, as well as developing design and traffic control plans for permit submissions. You'll also be responsible for producing accurate as-built drawings to reflect the completed work. All tasks must be performed in accordance with established safety procedures, using the appropriate safety equipment to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:
Hourly Pay $25-$28/hr DOE
M-F 8-5 shift
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:
We’re looking for someone who has completed an accredited Associate’s Degree program in drafting, with a preference for candidates who also have at least one year of CAD experience—though a strong educational background may be considered in place of direct experience. Ideal candidates will have working knowledge of AutoCAD 2016 or newer, be proficient with computers, and feel comfortable navigating server directories. A willingness to learn, a positive attitude, and a high level of motivation are essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent organization and attention to detail, are also key to success in this role. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass both a pre-employment drug screening and a criminal background check.
