Tualatin, OR.
Day shift: 6am - 2:30pm
Swing shift: 2:30pm - 10:45pm
Pay: $ DOE

Who we are:
Our client is a precision sheet metal manufacturing and engineering company. They specialize in providing high-quality sheet metal fabrication, engineering solutions, and integrated assembly services to meet a wide range of customer needs.

What you'll do:
This position is responsible for assembling and attaching components and hardware according to specifications using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment. Work may be performed at a bench, on a conveyor line, or on the floor. The role also includes checking assemblies for proper fit or alignment and making necessary adjustments to ensure quality and accuracy.
  Responsibilities

  • Reads travelers, prints, and assembly documentation.

  • Assembles parts or sub-assemblies using hand or power tools; checks for proper fit and makes necessary adjustments.

  • Performs visual inspections of completed assemblies.

  • Assists with packaging, shipping, or other production areas as needed.

  • May instruct and guide less experienced operators.

  • Cleans and organizes the workstation; maintains tools.

  • Follows established safety protocols, including proper use of PPE, and contributes to a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to use tools including (but not limited to):
  • Rivet gun
  • Wrenches, screw drivers
  • Impact wrenches
  • Torque drive tooling
  • Various power/hand tools
  • Accurate usage of tape measure
  • Fixture and Testing equipment
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Dependability; honesty & integrity; a positive, proactive attitude; ability to use time productively, working with minimal supervision both individually and as part of a team.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
