Who We Are:
Local and long-established company specializing in enlightened measurement technology is looking for an electro mechanical production technician to join their team.
What You’ll Do:
Performs manual and power-assisted electrical, mechanical assembly and test functions, and performs other tasks as needed.
Responsibilities:
- - Assembly:
Assist in assembly or rework of electronic components onto printed circuit boards according to oral instruction, stuff sheets, drawings, samples, BOM specs or schematics; pull kits, prep components, stuff PWBs, wave solder, hand solder, perform secondary operations & apply labels, such as serial numbers, etc. Assemble using hand tools, power tools, solder pot, heat gun and pneumatic dispensing unit. Prepare production kits. Indicate shortages where necessary.
- -Electro-Mechanical Assembly:
Assist in assembly or rework of electro-mechanical subassemblies, cables, products and systems according to verbal instruction, stuff sheets, BOM specifications, drawings, samples or schematics using hand tools, power tools or fixtures: prep, assemble, mount, joint, attach, solder, cement, pot, encapsulate or clean items to be fabricated. Inspect, burn in, test and calibrate product using electronic, mechanical and optical instruments, equipment and tools. Prepare finished products for shipment or storage by sealing, packing, foaming or labeling using plastic bags, labels and shipping cartons. Enter or apply pertinent data to packing lists or shipping containers.

- basic typing
