Job Description
Apprentice Service Technician
$20.00 - $23.00/hr.
Day Shift
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Basic Knowledge & Competencies
· High school diploma or GED equivalent required
· Mechanical or trade school certificate beneficial
· Valid driver's license required
Physical Requirements
· Standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bending on a frequent basis
· Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

Day Shift
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Inspect, diagnose and repair tools and equipment, to include liquid propane, gas, and diesel engines, electric motors, hydraulic systems, brake systems, steering systems, electrical systems, lifting systems, etc.
- Properly block, chock and chain equipment, and disassemble equipment as needed to facilitate major component removal and repair
- Perform equipment inspections to identify potential problems and safety concerns
- Perform routine and preventive scheduled maintenance such as oil changes, add fluids, changing worn parts and other maintenance items
- Complete basic and advanced technical training as assigned
- Maintain a culture of safety & participate in all safety meetings
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Basic Knowledge & Competencies
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent mechanical aptitude, technical knowledge and problem- solving skills
· High school diploma or GED equivalent required
· Mechanical or trade school certificate beneficial
· Valid driver's license required
