OPTI STAFFING IS HIRING: ALUMINUM FIT/FAB COMBO WELDERS
Are you a skilled Aluminum MIG & TIG Welder/Fabricator who can fit, fabricate, read shop drawings, and produce clean, quality welds?
We’re looking for experienced Aluminum Combo Welders/Fitters ready to put their skills to the test.
Location: Woodland, WA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Pay: $23–$29/hour — DOE & weld test
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Fit, fabricate, and weld primarily aluminum structures
- Perform TIG/GTAW, MIG/GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW as needed
- Read and interpret shop drawings independently
- Select the appropriate filler material for each project
- Inspect welds for quality and accuracy
- Cut, grind, drill, mill, tap, and prepare aluminum and steel parts
- Set up welding equipment, wire, shielding gas, and related tools
- Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and maintenance
- Use precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, protractors, and tape measures
- Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Work effectively as part of a team
2+ years of aluminum welding experience
Strong MIG & TIG aluminum welding skills
Mechanical and manual welding experience
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
Experience with power tools
Knowledge of cutting techniques, including oxy-fuel and plasma
Strong communication skills
Ability to bend, lift, and push up to 80 lbs
? Willingness to complete a weld test and math test
? Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Steel welding experience is a plus!
