Job Description
OPTI STAFFING IS HIRING!
Hours: M-F 7am-3:30pm
Location: Aurora, OR 97002
Pay: $20-$25 Depending on ExperienceÂ
Who we are:
Founded in 1972 this company began producing complete aircraft kits and new designs. Currently employs around 110 people and keeps them busy manufacturing several hundred complete aircraft kits a year. In an era of out-sourcing and foreign manufacture, this company is a bit of a rarity – a huge majority of the components used in the aircraft are manufactured in the USA, and most of them at the factory.Â
What you'll be doing:
The Aircraft Assembler II role involves independently fabricating and assembling major aircraft components such as fuel systems, electrical systems, flight control systems, and landing gear. Candidates must read and follow blueprints, use hand tools effectively, and have basic metalworking skills like trimming, deburring, and riveting. Additional responsibilities include installing and troubleshooting electrical systems, maintaining a clean work area, and identifying inefficiencies to improve processes using LEAN principles.
