Opti Staffing Group is partnering with a respected Native Corporation in Anchorage to find a Temporary Accounts Payable Specialist for a full-time, 3-month assignment. This is a great opportunity for an experienced AP professional to gain hands-on experience with a well-established organization.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing invoice processing, payment tracking, and financial record-keeping to support the company's accounting operations. Key duties include:
- Processing invoices and payments in an accurate and timely manner
- Matching purchase orders, invoices, and receipts to ensure correct payments
- Reconciling accounts payable transactions and resolving discrepancies
- Communicating with vendors and internal departments to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Maintaining financial records and assisting with audits as needed
- Supporting additional accounting functions as required
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous accounts payable experience required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and accounting software
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
