Opening: Accounts Payable Specialist
City: Aloha, OR
Pay: $25/hr. + DOE
Schedule: M-F 7am-4pm

Since 1983, our client has been a leading commercial construction company dedicated to delivering high-quality projects and creating spaces that matter. They are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Assistant to join their finance team and support various accounting functions.



What You’ll Do:
  • Accounts Payable: Process and verify invoices, match purchase orders, prepare payment runs, and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
  • Data Entry: Accurately enter financial transactions into the accounting system, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • File Management: Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Support: Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed.

What You Need to Have:

The Musts:
  • 2-5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Experience with Timberline (Sage) accounting software strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of construction cost codes and job costing.
