Accounting Clerk
City: Woodburn, OR
Schedule:Â M-F 8am-5pm
Pay: $21-24 per hour

What You’ll Do:
As an Accounting Clerk, you’ll play a vital role in managing the company’s receivable operations. This includes maintaining financial records, processing incoming payments, and ensuring accuracy in account reconciliation. You’ll also assist with accounts payable tasks, generate reports, and support the accounting team to keep everything running smoothly.
Daily responsibilities include:

Maintain accurate and timely accounts receivable records.

Process incoming payments and perform bank deposits.
-
Audit and reconcile receipts for accuracy.

Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies.

Send statements and reminders to customers to support timely collections.

Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding account status.

Maintain organized job files and documentation.

Generate reports and summaries detailing A/R status.

Assist with some accounts payable and administrative duties.

What You Need to Have:

High School Diploma or GED (Associate’s in Accounting or Business preferred).

2–3 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable or Payable.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and data entry accuracy.

Intermediate to advanced Excel and Word skills.
-
Proficient in 10-key by touch and general bookkeeping.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Dependable, punctual, and organized.

Strong customer service mindset.
Preferred:

Understanding of GAAP and experience with ERP systems.

Exposure to audits or internal controls.
