We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Technician to join their team.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As an Accounting Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the finance department and ensuring smooth financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing invoices, payments, and other financial transactions.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Assisting with payroll and accounts payable/receivable.
- Reconciling bank statements and ensuring financial discrepancies are addressed.
- Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Supporting the accounting team with data entry and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Responding to internal inquiries related to financial matters.
- Assisting with audits and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
REQUIREMENTS:
To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Previous experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations is a plus.
- A positive and collaborative attitude.
