AP Specialist
Location: NE Portland, OR
Pay: $55k-$60k, DOE
Hours: Mon-Fri
Who we are:
Our client is an amazing manufacturing company, that has become a leader in conveyor repair and heavy steel fabrication industries, is looking to hire an experienced Human Resources and Payroll Person! This company has a high volume, fast-paced environment and they need someone that can hit the ground running and take charge. This is not an entry level position. The room for growth is unlimited!

What You’ll Do:
- Credit card reimbursements
- High volume AP entering with 3-way matching
- Processing of PO’s with an understanding of receiving and discounts with vendor terms
- AP, some AR and inventory control
- General ledger
- Multi-state sales tax filings
- AP statements and reconciliation
What You Need to Have:
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with all aspects of AP, AR, and a plus would include inventory control
- Experience with credit card and expense reimbursement
- Knowledge of PO’s, receiving inventory and understanding of vendor discounts
- General ledger knowledge
- QuickBooks
- Multi-State Sales tax knowledge
- Ability to multi-task
- Computer literate with a good keystroke speed
- Detail oriented
- Willingness to step outside the parameters of the job to ensure accuracy
- Polite and friendly attitude and works well with others
- Willingness to cross-train; assist in other areas when needed
- AP statements and reconciliation
