Position: Accounts Payable Clerk
Department: Accounting
Pay: $23-$25 an hour D.O.E

What you will do:
- Timely, accurate processing of accounts payable and other duties as assigned
- Sort accounting mail and deliver to addressees
- Match packing lists, invoices and purchase orders and enter invoice into system
- Resolve any discrepancies between purchase orders, packing lists and invoices
- Monitor materials returned to vendors for credit or replacement
- Monitor AP aging to ensure payments are current
- Set up and maintain vendor files
- Respond to vendor inquiries
- Balance “Received Not Invoiced” report to the general ledger and resolve any discrepancies
- Provide copies of packing lists and C of C’s upon request
- Review GL coding on invoices
- Review sales tax assessments on invoices
- Review and replenish petty cash
- Prepare AP checks for signature weekly
- Prepare GL account analysis on AP-related accounts
- Filing
- Assist with monthly reporting
- Assist with tax and financial audits
What you need:
- One year accounts payable experience
- Experience in the Auto Industry would get you to the top of the list!
Preferred Qualifications:
- AA Degree in Accounting
- 3+ years accounts payable experience
