AP/AR Accountant
Location: Tigard, Oregon
Compensation: $32+/hr. DOE
Shift: 7am-3:30pm
Who We Are:
Local Manufacturing company is looking to add an AP to their team! This company was founded in 1997 dedicated to producing plastic parts and components for high-technology companies.
What You’ll Do:
The AP is responsible for processing, reconciling and maintaining Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and various general ledger accounts.
- Perform in a team environment to process, reconcile and maintain Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions utilizing MRP software, QuickBooks, Microsoft 365.
- Financial Accounting, financial management reporting and analysis; Cost Accounting, standard cost and variance analysis; Record Accounting transactions and account reconciliations; Support for external audit and tax returns.
- Insurance benefits reconciliations.
- Responsible for maintaining the integrity of accounting records, including audits as required
- Communicate with all internal departments, with additional focus on communications with Company President, Accounting Manager and Human Resource Manager.
- Communicate with vendors and customers.
- Maintain filing system for Accounts Receivable/Payable
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Present a professional image in accordance with company standards.
- Demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills.
- Other duties as requested.

What You Need to Have:
- Minimum high school degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in related bookkeeping systems and/or accounting experience.
- Preferred AA or equivalent education in accounting.
- Experience with general accounting software, QuickBooks preferred
- Experience with general manufacturing software a plus
- Ability to work in a team environment and be a contributing member.
- Attention to written details.
- Must be able to read and understand accounting reports.
- Demonstrated ability to reconcile Accounts Payable/Receivable accounts.
- Demonstrated ability to reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Windows OS.
- Demonstrated ability using MS Office software (i.e Excel, Word, Publisher, Teams).
- Must be able to take initiative.
- Must be able to work within deadlines.
