Location: South Metro Portland Area
Compensation: $30-$35/hr DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Shift Options: 6:00 AM-2:30 PM

This position reports directly to the Programming Manager and serves as a key link between the Programming Department and the Production Floor.
Responsibilities
-
Support and monitor first-run ("pilot") CNC programs during production startup
-
Make programming adjustments as needed to improve efficiency and ensure successful production runs

Work closely with machinists, setup technicians, and manufacturing personnel to resolve issues in real time
-
Update Mastercam programs and setup documentation to reflect process improvements and production changes

Assist with troubleshooting machining, tooling, and programming challenges

Help drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the manufacturing process

CNC programming experience, preferably with Mastercam, or a strong aptitude and desire to learn

Experience with CNC mills and/or lathes

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

6 years of programming experience
