Opening: Landscape Project Manager
City: Lakewood, Wa
WHO THEY ARE:
Serving Pierce county and surrounding areas, our primary service is landscape maintenance, but we also offer 'enhancement' or 'special projects', such as irrigation repair, bark, pavers, landscape construction & installation, landscape lighting, lawn renovations, patios and retaining walls, as well as renovations or brand-new installations.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
By planning the work, ordering the materials on time, scheduling the tools and equipment, and ensuring that the production work adheres to and stays within the specified / contracted scope, this job will aid in the development of projects and the achievement of budget goals.
This involves some sales work, production management, and a lot of communication with customers, employees, and upper management.
You will be responsible for creating proposals, making presentations to clients, managing, leading, and teaching the team so you can assess performance, assure the quality of the job, and make adjustments as necessary. an excellent balance of desk and field work!
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:
60-75k/year plus up to 20k in bonuses!
This is a full-time exempt (salaried) position, six paid holidays per year. Company paid health and dental insurance, paid time off / vacation. Uniform shirts / jacket and PPE provided. This position is assigned a Company truck (parked at production yard daily). Bonus program available too.
Bi-Lingual (English / Spanish) helpful but not required.
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:
You will require a solid foundation in landscape design, along with the related experience, knowledge of soils, plants, etc., and irrigation techniques. It will be useful to be familiar with, capable of reading and following blueprints and notes.
You must also have a current, valid WA driver's license and a spotless driving record. the capacity to successfully pass a background check and a drug test (UA). You MUST pass and have clean UA drug test results due to corporate and insurance policy.
