Opening: Accounting Supervisor
City: Anchorage, AK
Join our client's team as an Accounting Supervisor and take charge of managing the accounting functions for non-profit organizations while leading month-end processes and special projects.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
As the Accounting Supervisor, you will:
• Facilitate and complete month-end close procedures, including adjusting journal entries and revenue accruals.
• Monitor balance sheet activity, prepare reconciliations, and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate with the Assistant Controller and accounting staff to ensure timely close processes.
• Assist with annual budget compilation and preparation for financial audits.
• Develop and maintain internal and external relationships.
• Provide support and guidance to direct reports and senior accountants.
• Supervise general ledger and accounts receivable functions.
• Review reconciliation and journal entries submitted by other accountants.
• Focus on reconciling complex balance sheet items.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
