WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • Seeking CNC lathe machinists with enthusiasm and the ability to set up, program, and run parts on large and medium-sized lathes (both horizontal and vertical) equipped with Okuma and Fanuc controls. The dynamic job shop/R&D environment requires individuals adept at "programming on the fly."
  • Essential qualifications include a deep understanding of how different materials react during cutting, with experience in machining a variety of materials such as plastic, aluminum, bronze, carbon steel, tool steel, titanium, inconel, monel, and stainless steel. Knowledge of feeds and speeds for heat-treated materials is crucial.
  • Candidates should be conscientious, take pride in their work, and prioritize first-time accuracy, aiming for world-class quality. Two shifts are available: day shift (6 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Thursday) and swing shift (2:20 pm to 12:40 am, Monday through Thursday), with regular overtime opportunities.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:
  • Attention to detail.
  • Bring a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in job shops, specifically involving setups.
  • Possess expertise and experience in the application of G codes.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerances.
  • Showcase proficiency and hands-on experience in utilizing measuring and inspection equipment.
  • Be a collaborative team player, capable of working independently or within a team as the situation demands.
