Our Client is a employee owned company that is a leading provider of mechanical and process piping solutions. The location is a larger distribution warehouse for a variety of different tools and equipment for construction sites and projects!
What You’ll Do:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchaser with some on logistical responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, procuring, and managing inventory efficiently, while also playing a key role in coordinating the logistics and supply chain processes to fulfill orders for our team member in the field and customer’s needs. If you have a keen eye for cost-effective purchasing and a passion for streamlining logistics, we invite you to join our dynamic team.
Tasks:
-Vendor relationship developmentÂ
-Place purchase orders and monitor order fulfillment to ensure timely delivery for multiple locations
-Maintain accurate inventory levels to meet production and customer demand
-Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize storage space and organize inventory.
-Work closely with cross-functional teams, including accounting, warehouse, and field teams, to ensure alignment of purchasing and logistics strategies

What You Need to Have:
The Musts:
- 2 years of experience as a purchaser or related field
-Excellent attention to detail
-Excellent communication skills
-Comfortable tackling new and challenging projectsÂ
-Strong organizational and time management skills
-Data entry skills
-Team PlayerÂ
-Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Preferred:
-Knowledge of tools, equipment, and construction terminology
-Development and implementation of SOP.
