 OPTI STAFFING GROUP 

Position:
Parts Counter & DPF Technician

Location:
Portland, OR

Pay:
$23–$25 per hour (DOE)

Schedule:
Full-time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Who We Are:
We are a growing team in the heavy-duty diesel industry, specializing in emissions solutions for commercial vehicles. Our facility focuses on cleaning diesel particulate filters (DPFs), retrofitting older trucks to meet modern emissions standards, and providing quality parts and customer support.
What You’ll Do:

  • Assist customers at the parts counter with parts selection and service inquiries

  • Operate automated DPF cleaning equipment, including pulse machines and exhaust flow testers

  • Pull and organize parts for both shop use and customer orders

  • Participate in emissions retrofitting of older diesel vehicles

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace

What You Need to Have:

  • Mechanical aptitude and/or experience in automotive or diesel parts

  • Comfort working in both parts and shop settings

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
The Musts:

  • Dependability and punctuality

  • Willingness to learn and be flexible in day-to-day duties

  • Safety-first mindset and ability to follow procedures
Preferred:

  • Experience with diesel parts or emissions systems

  • Familiarity with DPFs or retrofit processes

  • Warehouse or inventory background
