Overview We are seeking a motivated and trainable Pipe Refurbishment Technician to join a growing field operations team. No prior pipe refurbishment experience required — we'll train the right person! The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-minded, and ready to get their hands dirty learning a skilled trade in pipeline rehabilitation and maintenance.
Duties
- Assist with inspection, cleaning, lining, and rehabilitation of existing pipe systems under crew lead supervision.
- Support operation of pipe inspection cameras, hydro-jetting equipment, and cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) systems.
- Help identify and assess pipe defects, corrosion, root intrusion, and structural failures.

- Follow confined space entry procedures in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Read and interpret pipe system diagrams, as-built drawings, and work orders.

- Assist with preparation and submission of AIA progress billings and lien waivers as required
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies, disputes, and short payments in coordination with project managers
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all invoices, payments, and correspondence
- Assist with month-end close activities including AR aging reports and account reconciliations
- Communicate with project managers, owners, and GCs regarding billing status and outstanding balances
- Support the accounting team with additional tasks as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 or more years of accounts receivable experience, preferably in a construction or contractor environment
- Familiarity with construction billing practices including AIA pay applications, retention, and lien waivers
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Experience with construction accounting software a plus
- High degree of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
