ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable General Accountant to support the finance department of a well-established organization in the Anchorage area. This role handles a broad range of accounting and administrative responsibilities including financial statement preparation, account reconciliation, financial data analysis, cash handling, and daily bank deposits.

This is a full-time, in-office position at the Anchorage headquarters, ideal for an accounting professional who takes ownership of their work, communicates effectively across departments, and thrives in a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Own the accounts payable function including invoice processing and timely resolution of discrepancies
  • Oversee the purchase order system and manage inventory accounts
  • Perform accounts payable, credit card, and inventory reconciliations
  • Process and manage cash and check deposits
  • Analyze financial data and trends to identify variances, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement
  • Assist with preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections
  • Support external audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
  • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency and accuracy

REQUIREMENTS:

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
In this role, you’ll take full ownership of the company’s accounting, payroll, and administrative functions while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. You’ll handle day-to-day bookkeeping in QuickBooks (Desktop and Online), including recording and categorizing transactions, reconciling accounts, maintaining the chart of accounts, and generating financial reports like profit and loss statements and balance sheets. You’ll also prepare and track budgets across multiple entities, manage cash flow and fund transfers (including foreign currency), and support projects by reviewing quotes and tracking progress. Payroll will be fully your responsibility—you’ll collect timesheets, process payroll through Paychex and an international provider, track PTO and benefits, and handle year-end documents like W-2s, T4s, and 1099s.
In addition, you’ll manage HR-related tasks such as maintaining employee files, onboarding new hires, conducting background checks, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. You’ll work closely with CPAs by providing financial documentation, oversee property-related finances and operations (including taxes, vendors, maintenance, and reservations), and maintain corporate records, insurance, licenses, and reporting requirements (including Canadian filings). You’ll also help manage office operations, coordinate logistics and deliveries, communicate with stakeholders like HOA members and property managers, and support ownership with various administrative and operational needs as they arise.

Overview We are seeking a motivated and trainable Pipe Refurbishment Technician to join a growing field operations team. No prior pipe refurbishment experience required — we'll train the right person! The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-minded, and ready to get their hands dirty learning a skilled trade in pipeline rehabilitation and maintenance.

Duties
  • Assist with inspection, cleaning, lining, and rehabilitation of existing pipe systems under crew lead supervision.
  • Support operation of pipe inspection cameras, hydro-jetting equipment, and cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) systems.
  • Help identify and assess pipe defects, corrosion, root intrusion, and structural failures.
  • Assist in preparing pipe surfaces and applying epoxy coatings, liners, or other refurbishment materials per job specifications.
  • Follow confined space entry procedures in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Read and interpret pipe system diagrams, as-built drawings, and work orders.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • 2 or more years of accounts receivable experience, preferably in a construction or contractor environment
  • Familiarity with construction billing practices including AIA pay applications, retention, and lien waivers

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support the accounting operations of a well-established organization in the Anchorage area. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
