Opening: Electrical Engineer/Designer
City: NE Portland
Pay: $75k+
WHO WE ARE:
An established MEP firm serving the Northwest architectural community for over 35 years. We do a wide variety of projects, giving
our staff the opportunity to gain experience in many aspects of design. Our staff works on all aspects of project design, from initial concept through construction
administration.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Design and specification for
* power distribution systems,
* lighting systems,
* grounding systems and
* communications systems.
-Project engineering, project management, & marketing support.
- Produce contract documents, plans and specifications.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
-Scheduling and cost estimating.
-Take jobs from start to finish and be responsible for those projects through
construction with minimal supervision.
- Coordination with clients
- Develop relationships with clients
REQUIRMENTS:
-Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
- FE or PE registration a plus.
- 3 Years experience in Electrical Design of power distribution systems
- Consulting experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent organization and communication skills a must.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Word and Excel
- Revit proficiency a plus
-Highly organized, detail-driven and conscientious.
-Must possess strong communication skills, team leadership skills, work in
fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines & possess comprehensive
engineering software application knowledge.
