Position: Commercial Roof Observer - Roof/Envelope Inspector Location: Vancouver, WA Pay: $70,000+ Salary (DOE) Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM minimum, occasional weekends as needed)

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Do
As a Roof/Envelope Inspector, you will support our quality assurance efforts during construction seasons and conduct evaluations and testing of existing roof and building envelope systems during rainy seasons. You will also assist with technical reporting, proposal development, and project documentation.
Responsibilities Include:

Conducting on-site field observations and minor testing during system installations

Drafting and publishing field observation reports with actionable recommendations

Supporting project managers with diagnostics and technical evaluations
-
Interpreting construction documents (drawings, specifications, etc.)

Performing administrative tasks related to project tracking and delivery

What You Need to Have

High school diploma or GED equivalent
-
Strong observation and attention to detail
-
Effective written and verbal communication skills
-
Ability to navigate construction documents and technical specifications
-
Familiarity with database systems and report preparation
The Musts

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Bluebeam
-
Ability to work independently and in team environments
-
Clean driving and criminal record for security clearance eligibility
-
Drug-free workplace compliance
Preferred
-
At least 2 years of experience in construction, roofing, or envelope-related roles
-
Experience in field inspections and quality assurance processes
