OPTI STAFFING IS HIRING!
Location: Mt. Angel/Woodburn, Oregon
Compensation: $20-28+/hr. DOE
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7am-3:30pm

Our client is a global leader in the food processing industry. Founded in 1968 as a manufacturer of custom food processing equipment for the vegetable industry. The focus on fryers began with the first, successful French Fry Fryer order in 1985.
What You’ ll Do:
Welder/Fabricator is responsible for producing and assembling metal parts, structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers and measuring tools according to blueprints, employer and customer specifications. Welder/Fabricator sets up, operates and maintains welding equipment.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Weld and fabricate projects according to specifications and direction from Lead and Senior Lead
- Welders/Fabricators and Production Manager.
- Responsible for ensuring projects are completed accurately and in accordance with quality standards.
- Complete requisition slips for any materials not called out for a specific job to ensure accuracy of inventory.
- Communicate with lead workers and supervisors to ensure accuracy of work product.
- Possess protective equipment
- Steel toed boots
- Safety glasses
Skill Requirements:
- Welding skills:
- MIG Welding – Hard wire plus fluxcore
- TIG Welding – Self-sufficient capability
- Fabrication skills:
- Ability to do layout
- Ability to put together small projects including frames and handrails
- Blueprint reading skills:
- Basic blueprint reading including understanding of basic signs

The musts:
-Basic tools
-Experience working on a variety of different thicknesses and material
-TIG welding experience 5+ yrs
-Strong mechanical knowledge
-Ability to follow directions precisely
