WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Perform the setup and operation of prototype and one-off components utilizing a variety of CNC machinery, including lathes, mills, and mill-turn machines.
- Meticulously refine pre-programmed instructions on the machine, making adjustments to speeds and feeds to ensure optimal performance.
- Proficiently manage a diverse range of materials, from standard ones like steel and aluminum to more exotic alloys such as inconel and titanium.
- Skillfully interpret blueprints and part sheets, employing a keen understanding to determine the most effective approach for producing precision parts.
- Actively contribute innovative ideas to continually improve processes, aiming to enhance overall efficiency, reduce downtime, and minimize scrap in the machining workflow.

- Attention to detail.
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant prior experience in a job shop or a comparable prototype and R&D setting.
- Demonstrate knowledge of and experience with G & M codes.
- Display proficiency in geometric dimensioning and tolerances.
- Exhibit a robust understanding and skill in using measuring and inspection equipment.
