OPTI STAFFING IS HIRING!
Position: CNC Machinist / Programmer – Wax Injection Mold Specialist
Location: SE Portland, OR
Pay: $25–$35+ (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

We’re a specialized job shop serving the aerospace, medical, defense, and manufacturing industries, known for our high standards, attention to detail, and consistent quality. Our team values long-term relationships, performance-driven rewards, and a secure work environment.
What You’ll Do:

  • Program and operate CNC machines to create Wax Injection Molds

  • Use Mastercam to design programs

  • Work primarily with 7075 aluminum

  • Operate 3-axis Haas machines (experience with 4 or 5 axis a plus)

  • Support high-quality production across various industries

What You Need to Have: The Musts:

  • Minimum 2+ years of CNC machining and program design experience

  • Proficiency with Mastercam

  • Experience with Haas CNC equipment

  • Strong attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset
Preferred:

  • Experience with Mastercam and Haas Machines with 7075 Aluminium

  • Background in mold making or precision job shop environments
