Position:
CNC Machinist 3
Location: Wood Village, OR
Pay: $26+ per hour (DOE) 
Schedule: Swing Shift

What You’ll Do
As a CNC Machinist 3, you’ll be responsible for operating and setting up multiple CNC machines, ensuring that all parts meet exact specifications. You’ll work independently, lead by example, and support less experienced machinists while maintaining top-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load/unload machines and materials

  • Perform complex machine setups independently

  • Follow all safety procedures and quality standards

  • Troubleshoot tooling issues and make offset adjustments

  • Create or revise setup sheets

  • Edit programs to meet specifications and prove out new programs

  • Train entry-level machinists on setup and operation

  • Perform basic machine repair and maintenance

  • Collaborate with programming and engineering to resolve issues

  • Use blueprints and drawings to verify dimensions and tolerances

  • Conduct machine recovery after minor faults or crashes

  • Other duties as assigned

What You Need to Have

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 4–6 years of CNC machining experience, including setups

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

  • Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools

  • Knowledge of CNC offsets, tooling, and machining principles

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

  • Ability to work independently and stand for long periods

Preferred Qualifications

  • Machine Technology degree

  • Experience in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement

  • Familiarity with AS9100 requirements and methodologies
