Permanent Part Time Construction Office Manager/Bookkeeper in Seattle

Our client is a successful and stable light commercial and residential general contractor looking for an experienced, full-charge bookkeeper and office manager to join their quality focused team.  This is a flexible work week ranging between 15 and 25 hours a week.  Tools include Quickbooks-contractor edition, desktop and 7/10 in excel, so expertise in this area is a must and ease with MS One Drive.

The position includes monthly invoices and tracking with reporting on aging AR.  AR/AP, process and manage bi-weekly payroll, file monthly and quarterly taxes, prepare and assist with audits and work with the accountant on annual federal taxes.  This is

Manage all email and process incoming mail. Data entry of all receipts, invoices, and weekly employee hours. Managing over/underpayments/credits with multiple vendors and credits

Additional Job requirements:
* file State Workers Comp
*Monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and credit card
*Monthly P&L and Job costing reports and other QB reports as needed.
*Administration duties as needed (scanning, filing, consolidating, contract admin, etc)
*Obtain current Insurance Certificates and W9' s from all vendors/subcontractors and file appropriately
*Prepare for and assist with audits if they should arise.
*Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions to stay in compliance.
*Familiarity with time tracking applications preferred.
*Assist in occasional marketing campaigns, as needed.

+Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping experience
+Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team player
+Able to multitask, set priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
+Computer proficiency with QuickBooks, Excel, Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
+Strong organizational skills and self-starter traits are a must
